During this workship you will learn the fundamentals of hoop dance that will provide a foundation for the art form. We will practice basic tricks, on the body technique, and begin to learn how to dance with the hoop. This class will improve balance, body awareness, flexibility & muscle strength. Hoops of different sizes will be provided.
Dana Leonard is a self-taught hoop dancer from Cooperstown, NY. She began practicing hoop 4 years ago as an outlet for creative expression & movement. Dana performs with fire hoops, multiple hoops and has taught classes to students of all ages.
