This is mostly a meditation class with little movement. In class we will engage in a mindful energy practice that will gather into the physical and energetic bodies different forms of Universal Qi that will help rejuvenate and restore balance, while eliminating blockages. We will begin with Sacral Breathing and a Cleansing Warm up, followed by Collecting and Circulating Energy and ending with Storing and Smoothing the Qi. We will practice a meditation to increase your energy volume, ground you and draw the energy of heaven and earth into the Body/Mind/Spirt. This Practice will activate your Wei Qi Field to draw external energy into you to repair and balance your personal energy envelope. We will finish with pouring the cream on top. These forms are easy to learn and can be integrated into your regular practice. Qigong is the skill of cultivating Life Force Energy, which integrates physical postures and breathing techniques with focused intention. By developing a regular daily routine of correct and consistent practice, one may regain youthful vitality, maintain health, promote longevity and recover quickly from illness. Qigong harmonizes the body, mind and spirit connections. You will come away from this Practice feeling more centered and balanced.
