Limited Capacity filling up

It is estimated that a human being has an average of 12- 60,000 thoughts a day, and 80% of thoughts are typically negative (according to National Science Foundation). No wonder why we seek escape in the form of chemicals and other habits that are addictive. We see how these substances and actions also numb certain undesirable feelings (depression, shyness, disappointment)  Using the brilliance of  Ayurveda and Yoga , we can gain a better , compassionate understand of why we get attracted to things  such as drugs, sex, shopping,  information and drama.  Birthed in Woodstock, Shakti Yoga is a colorful and dynamic style that empowers practitioners to use their practice to achieve optimal creativity, happiness, and courage. We learn to carve out a plan of action with a calming and reassuring philosophy. By using inspired and challenging yoga asana sequences, sharing the teachings of philosophy, and focusing on breath regulation, we gain inner power to make the changes we want to see in our world.  If you’re looking for a motivating class to make big and necessary changes, this is the right session for you. Be prepared to have fun as you get really clear in your intentions.
